The idea behind this thought provoking collaboration is to display the dependency of the citizens (rats) on both government parties and how the government (elephant and donkey) control and manipulate the citizens.

Richie is a self-taught artist form SW Detroit who is proud of his Puerto Rican Heritage. Richie made a name for himself at a young gage as a graffiti artist and muralist and gained experience through participating in local and national events, such as Meeting of Styles Chicago, The 2Buck Invitational in Louisville, The Momentum Urban Arts Festival in Wisconsin & Art Basil Miami. Richie is featured on ‘The Legends Wall’ located behind Michigan Central Station. His visual, digital and virtual art use various mediums to bring his artwork to life.

David Christopher Hernandez Jr is a 44 year old man born and raised in Detroit, Mi. A father of two amazing daughters. A local artist that works with multi-medium but specializes in acrylic and pen. David likes to create cartoon characters in a bold and dark setting. David also does caricatures with watercolor on watercolor paper for festivals. His future goal is to publish his graphic novels and children's books.
